My Dream Trail: G U A M !

"I am not rich. My travels are not grand compared to the other travel bloggers. But at the end of the day, it's all about the impact of your trails to your life...memories. I made a pact to myself that I must explore first my very own country and unravel the trails of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao before packing for Asia, and beyond." This is my official blog quote.

Yes, truly, I am a poor traveler. But by God's grace, I was able to explore His creations, crafted by His mighty hands. I really have this desire to explore first the different islands of the Philippines before flying abroad. Of course, I dream for Asia, and I am already planning for that. And hey, what about beyond Asia? If given the chance, why not?!

Talking about chances, I was astonished to receive an email from the product manager of Heinz Ketchup, Philippines. It was an invitation to join a Blogging Contest. And wow, the winner will fly to Guam for free! And it's a trip for two, free plane fare (c/o United Airlines) and hotel accommodation. How is that guyz?

I said yes and gave it a try: this article is my entry. I was asked: Why do you want to go to Guam and what would you want to do in Guam if you won the trip package?

Yes! I want to go to Guam! Why?

I only have one answer: I want to spend good memories with my dear Nanay. After my father died, I cherished every moment I had with my mother. And I told myself: I have to spend more time with her, I have to bring her along with my trails while she is still able to walk, and keep the golden memories in my heart forever. Now, my Nanay is my travel buddy.

What will I do in Guam? I will share these 5 things:

1. Experience God by exploring the gift of nature that Guam can offer.

2. Meet the locals of Guam and learn from them.

3. Taste their local food and try to cook such.

4. Explore the hidden trails of Guam and share my experience to my dear readers, then encourage them to travel too.

5. Have fun with my travel buddy, my dear Nanay.

At the end of the day, dreams do come true. But if this is not yet the chance? Then I am thrilled for the day that I will be able to kiss Guam and say, hello!
